Addicted to wool

My stash of wool is growing and is starting to take over the entire house. I have mostly odd balls of colours which I want to do lots of fair isle with. I don't think I'll ever knit all of my wool up but at the same time I won't stop adding to my stash either. Hmmmm might try an afghan with lots of different squares of different stitch patterns. My favorite yarn is definetely angora as I have a rabbit and his fur is so soft. Can't wait till he sheds so I can spin it. Oh well the stash grows and grows.

Knit for life

Well welcome to my blog.
Knitting to some is a craft, to others a living but to me knitting is a way to get through life with joy and hope. It quashes the depths of depression and you produce something which you can be proud of. Others are so impressed when you surprise them with a home made gift which isn't made of paddle-pop sticks or paper mache. Not that I have anything against either medium. Both are v valuable. Knitting allows you to have clothes that fit well and accessories you are proud to be seen with and are one of a kind without having a thousand dollar plus price tag.
So if I've inspired you to knit that's great if not maybe you have some insight into why people are so crazy about it.
